The game might be a remaster of the first Tony Hawk titles but it is extremely good. Players need to complete special objectives in order to advance in the game. There are a lot of games with special objectives, even browser games like agario private server have them. Agario is one of the most popular and addicting games, same as Slither.io.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 sold more than 1 million copies in 2 weeks, shattering several records on the way. Try it! We promise that you will not regret buying this game if you enjoy skateboarding games and since it’s available on PS4, get your PlayStation Gift Cards now and start skating!

Skater XL is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Unfortunately, the game does not offer keyboard support. Players can customize their skaters and learn new tricks. Career mode is particularly fun and has more than 30 achievements for players to unlock. Session is still in early access on Steam. However, the game is a pure skateboarding experience. It is available on Xbox and Windows. Session’s camera even has an interesting mode where you play from the perspective of a fisheye lens.

Many players have compared it to the Skate series, which is seen as a predecessor of Session. Mind you, the controls of the game can be a bit hard. The locations in the game are created with a 1:1 ratio and this gives it a distinct feel of realism. Session is definitely for players who want a pure skateboarding experience.

If you prefer a VR game this might be the one for you. The game does look very immersive and it does speak to those skateboarding vibes with their curated music playlist. The game is expected to be released at the end of 2020 for the Oculus Rift, Valve Index, Windows Mixed Reality and HTC Vive.

It might be 10 years old but Skate 3 is a timeless classic for the real skateboarding fans out there. The game is definitely one of EA’s gems. The fictional city was amazing! From NPCs to random locations, everywhere is available for you to skate. The park editor was exceptionally revolutionary for players.

EA stated that they designed the city from scratch for this game. It is currently available on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Skate 3 still has an active community and we have good news for the fans of the series, Skate 4 is coming soon as well!

Stickman Skate Battle

If you beat them you will get their coins and participate in bigger events. The game is the ultimate PvP fun for all, from leagues to daily events. Interestingly, Stickman Skate Battle also offers support for Android TV and Nvidia Shield. PvP in skateboarding games is really rare and Stickman Skate Battle is currently offering it for free!

To Conclude

Maybe they seem less popular these days but skateboarding games definitely have a dedicated community. The games did change significantly over the last decade but now we have VR in our lives and it will definitely offer more ways for us to play our favorite games.

Skateboarding games combined with open-world elements are certainly intriguing. Many players are looking for that immersive experience and some games are offering this. We can see that there is a rise in popularity as well, classic series like Skate are returning and maybe we will have the second golden age of skateboarding games coming to us soon.
